Below are some guidesline of how to measure for your dog coats from Barking Mad Clothing

1. Measure from where the collar sits to the beginning of the dogs tail / the distance you would like the coat to go down the dogs back. This measurement is usually sufficant for ordering a dog coat.

The length of the coats displayed on the online site ie 10" / 25cm , 20" / 50cm etc is the
LENGTH ALONG THE DOGS BACK.
When ordering you select the length of the dog coat

Other mesurements to help ensure a good fit:

2. Measure the circumference of the dogs chest at the widest point. If the dog is deep chested we recommed a belly strap that is adjustable.

3. If you have a deep chested dog ie Staffie, Bull Terrier, Pug we recommend you also measure the collar size of the dog.

We can offer a made to measure service on 3 styles of dog coats.
The Waterproof Warmer, The Safety Warmer & the Rambo Dog Coat
To measure for the made to measure service we need a minium of 3 measurements.
These measurements need to be exact.

1. The exact length of the coat. ie from where the collar sits along the dogs spine to how far you would like the coat to do down the dogs back.
2. The circumference of the chest at the widest point.
3. The collar circumference.
4. We also need to know what dog breed we are making the coat for.
Any additional measurements are welcome to help ensure a good fit.
If you require this service there is an additional standard made to order charge of £2.99 per coat.
Please note that this is a made to order service and therefore if the sizes supplied are incorrect the item can not be returned for a refund or exchange.
